LPTA is an association of leading Latvian food retailers.

The Latvian Food retailers association was founded with the aim of developing food retailing as a sector, resolving the issues having a direct impact on food retailers.

We are strongly in favour of an orderly business environment in Latvia and its retail sector, holding that the key interests are those of consumers wishing to buy first-class, safe food products for an appropriate price. Only in such an environment can we work in good faith, be a reliable partner for our country and responsible employers.

LPTA is actively involved in and imparts the necessary expertise in the drafting of legislation affecting food retailing. LPTA and its members, as a key segment of the Latvian business environment, provide a stable partner for government institutions, always willing to contribute to Latvia’s economic development.
